These are really good and super addicting!! I make sweet treats all the time and these have quickly become my family's and my favorite. I dare you to try to eat just one.

unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 c
granulated sugar
1/2 c
packed brown sugar
1/2 c
creamy peanut butter
1 large
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
1/2 c
old-fashioned oats
11/2 c
butterscotch chips


1/4 c
creamy peanut butter
1/4 c
vanilla almond milk (can use regular milk if desired)
1 c
powdered sugar

How to Make Peanut butter butterscotch bars


  • 1Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 9 x 13 casserole pan preferably with butter.
  • 2In the bowl of a stand mixer cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter. Mix in vanilla and egg.
  • 3In a medium bowl mix together flour, baking soda, salt, and oatmeal. Add flour mixture to peanut butter mixture and mix until combined.
  • 4Spread batter into greased pan and sprinkle butterscotch chips over top. Bake at 350° for about 20 to 25 minutes just until edges are brown.
  • 5While the batter is baking combine all ingredients for the glaze into a bowl of a stand mixer and beat until smooth. Pour and spread the waves over the top of the bars while they are still warm. Let cool completely before cutting.
