Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 6 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    butter
  • 2
    eggs
  • 3 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make No-Roll Sugar Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Cream together sugars and butter with a mixer at medium speed. Add eggs and mix well. Add flour, baking soda, cream of tarter and vanilla; mix well. Chill 15 min.
  3. Roll dough into walnut-size balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten with the bottom of a glass that has been dipped into sugar. Bake about 10 min, until light golden.
