My mom would make these for Christmas and they would go so fast, I was lucky to get just one, lol. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick softened butter
- 1/2 stick softened butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup eggnog
- 1 teaspoon rum extract
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 stick softened butter
- 4 tablespoons eggnog
- 2 teaspoons rum extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- pinch nutmeg for sprinkling
How To Make mom's frosted eggnog cookies

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Place parchment paper on cookie sheets. In bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.

Step 2In lg bowl, beat 1 and 1/2 sticks butter, sugar and brown sugar until creamy. Beat in egg yolks, 1/2 cup eggnog, 1 tsp rum extract and vanilla. Slowly beat in flour mix until combined. Place heaping tsp of dough onto baking sheets. Bake 11-13 mins, or until light golden on bottom. Let cool on racks.

Step 3In another lg bowl, Beat 1 stick butter, 4 tbsp eggnog and remaining rum extract until creamy. Slowly beat in powdered sugar until smooth. Frost cookies and sprinkle each cookie w/ a small pinch of nutmeg.
