A delicious recipe given to me by my mom. Not sure where it originated, but it's a summertime favorite.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 6-7 tablespoons instant iced tea (regular or flavored, i like lemon)
- 1 - egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- FOR GLAZE:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 5 teaspoons hot water or milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make iced tea cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350° F.

Step 2Beat butter and sugar in large mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in tea, egg yolk and vanilla extract. Gradually stir in flour. Drop by heaping teaspoon 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.

Step 3Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool & brush with glaze. Cool completely prior to serving.

Step 4To make the glaze, combine all ingredients, and let thicken before brushing over cookies.
