healthier apple sugar cookies
I dreamt up this recipe one night while I was sleeping. So the next morning I put the recipe to the test. They are delicious and satisfying. I think they are a good cookie for dieters. Try them and let me know what you think.

Ingredients
- 2 medium apples
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons chia seed
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 2/3 cup margarine
- 1 1/3 cups sugar in the raw
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 cup separate bowl of sugar in the raw for roling cookie balls
How To Make healthier apple sugar cookies

Step 1Chop apples. Then put the 1st 5 ingredients ( apples,brown sugar, margarine,chia seeds, and cinnamon) in a sauce pan. Cook until apples are tender. Cool mixture

Step 2Take the next 5 ingredients (shortening, margarine, sugar in the raw, ) cream these together until creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla. Combine all together.

Step 3Add the Apple mixture to the wet ingredients. Combine well.

Step 4Take the remaining ingredients. (Flour, cinnamon,baking powder and salt.) Mix altogether.

Step 5Mix the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients by using a mixer.

Step 6Shape the dough into walnut size balls roll them in the remaining sugar in the raw. Place on a cookie sheet about 2" apart. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes. Or until crispy on the bottom.

Step 7Remove from cookie sheet to a cooling rack unit completely cool.
