  • 2 c
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/2 c
    crisco (butter flavor)
  • 2 large
  • 1 c
  • 2 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 4 1/2 c
  • 1 tsp

How to Make Grandma's Sugar Cookies


  1. Cream Sugar, butter and Crisco.
  2. Add eggs one at a time. Blend throughly.
  3. Blend in Baking Powder and vanilla.
  4. Blend in milk and flour alternately. Blend throughly.
  5. Use parchment paper on cookie sheet. Use large cookie scoop.
    Drop each cookie about an inch apart.
  6. Put small amount of sugar in a small bowl. Dampen the bottom of a small glass. Dip glass in sugar & use to lightly flatten top of each cookie twice.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees.
