This should be call death by cookie bar!! If you like sweet and gooey its a must try, but dont forget to add the salted caramel! That makes it!! I was playing with a PB cookie mix to come up with this. I got a little crazy but it definatly was worth it!!! I love the idea of taking short cuts with mixes.

- pb cookie mix (make 36 cookies)
- ingredients for mix
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2-1 cup pb chocolate cereal puffs
1/4 cup nuts fine chopped (any kind) & optional
1/4 cup melted caramel
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

How To Make gooey cereal pb cookie bars w/salted caramel

Step 1

Mix your ingredients for peanut butter cookies and press on bottom of 8x8 glass baking dish. Can use a larger pan, these are pretty big. Take fork and mark as You would a pb cookie. Start layering with chocolate chips first, nuts, then cereal puffs. Press down lightly in cookie mix.

Step 2

Place in 375 degree oven til browned, about 25-30mins. Let cool for 10min. Drizzle with warmed caramel, top with salt and let cool another 30min before cutting. Ooey Gooey yummy!!!!
