Ingredients

- cookies
2 boxes german chocolate cake mix dry
4 large eggs
10 ounces butter melted
- frosting
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 large egg yolks
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup pecans chopped

How To Make german chocolate sandwich cake cookies

Step 1

Cake Mix dry cake mix with eggs and butter. Mixture will be thick. Roll into balls and place on greased cookie sheet. 12 per pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 8 to 10 minutes. Cool completely

Step 2

Frosting Melt butter in saucepan adding sugar, milk, egg yolks, and vanilla. Cook until thickened. Stir in coconut and pecans. Let cool.
Step 3

Spread frosting on one cookie and top with another.
