Fran's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Lisa Foote

This is a recipe that my Mom had when we were growing up. I made these today because I was thinking of her. They are made with shortening, you can use butter but they really are delicious with shortening as the recipe was a nice treat to have them and think of her. I used butter flavored Crisco in mine along with half white chocolate and half milk chocolate chips. You can double it easily as well. Here's to you Mom!
