My son was looking for a specific cookie he remembered making with me as a kid. I think this one is it but, I'll have to throw it into the cookie rotation this year and see if it's the one he remembers. I got this from my college roomie aver 30 years ago.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make delicious sugar cookies

Step 1

Mix all ingredients.

Step 2

Roll out dough about 1/4 inch thick.
Step 3

Cut with cookie cutters.
Step 4

Bake at 400 degrees F about 10 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool on racks.
