These are very easy cookies to make, so they're great to make with children. I make these every year with my grandchildren.

  • 1 c
    light brown sugar
  • 3/4 c
    light brown sugar
  • 6 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 stick
    softened butter
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 bag(s)
    christmas colored candy m and m's

How to Make Christmas candy cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. In lg bowl, beat together brown sugar, sugar and butter until mostly creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  2. Beat in flour and baking soda. Cover bowl and refrigerate 1/2 hour. Heat oven to 375. Take out bowl from refrigerator and stir in candies.
  3. Cover cookie sheets w/ parchment paper. Drop cookie mix by teaspoons onto cookie sheets about an inch apart. Bake about 10 mins, or until light golden brown.
