This makes a nice cookie for tea time, or for your holiday tray. We like the combination of the chocolates and cherry.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter,softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large - egg
  • 2 tsp - vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp - baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp - salt
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup wanuts or pecans, chopped coarsely
  • 1 cup dried cherries, chopped

How To Make chocolate cherry chunk cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Cream together the sugars and butter until light and fluffy.
  • Step 3
    Add the vanilla and egg; mix well.
  • Step 4
    Mix in the dry ingredients and mix until incorporated.
  • Step 5
    Stir in the white and dark chocolate chips, nuts, and cherries.
  • Step 6
    Drop by teaspoonful on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for about 11 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Remove from oven and let cookies cool on the cookie sheet for a minute before transferring them to a rack to cool completely. Store cookies in an air-tight container.
