    unsalted butter,softened
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    white chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c
    dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    wanuts or pecans, chopped coarsely
  • 1 c
    dried cherries, chopped

How to Make Chocolate Cherry Chunk Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream together the sugars and butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla and egg; mix well.
  4. Mix in the dry ingredients and mix until incorporated.
  5. Stir in the white and dark chocolate chips, nuts, and cherries.
  6. Drop by teaspoonful on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for about 11 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and let cookies cool on the cookie sheet for a minute before transferring them to a rack to cool completely. Store cookies in an air-tight container.
