Just in time for Valentine's Day! These chewy pink cookies are so much fun and yes they taste like bubble gum!!!

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    bubble gum flavoring
  • ·
    red food coloring drops
  • ·
    pink sugar

How to Make Bubble Gum Sugar Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. preheat oven to 350
  2. in small bowl mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. set aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugar. Beat until fluffy. Beat in egg.
  4. Stir in extracts. Drop a couple drops of food coloring to get desired shade of pink. Slowly beat in dry ingredients.
  5. Scoop into 1 inch balls. (do not fear if dough is a bit crumbly). Roll into pink sugar. Place onto ungreased cookie sheets about 1 inch apart.
  6. bake 10-12 minutes.
