black raspberry tart cookies
These are a take on my Mothers butter cookie usually she cuts them out and bakes and decorates them one Christmas I decided to add jelly everyone loved them been making this way ever since I still cut some in shapes and decorate.

Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 - unbeaten egg
- 2 teaspoons milk
- 11/2 teaspoons vanilla
- - black raspberry jelly
How To Make black raspberry tart cookies

Step 1sift together dry ingredients.

Step 2cream butter and sugar.

Step 3add egg, milk, and vinilla

Step 4blend in dry ingredients gradually.( I do this in a stand mixer my hands won't handle this thick dough any more)

Step 5Chill dough 1 hour.

Step 6Roll out on floured surface 1/4" thick .( using round cookie cutter cut out rounds)

Step 7put 1/2 teaspoon black raspberry jelly in center of round,

Step 8at this point you can either put another round on top and seal or you can fold in half and seal,( I do both ways)

Step 9bake on lightly greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.

Step 10cool on wire racks when cool you can drizzle with frosting.
