How to Make Benne Wafers


  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, flour,sesame seeds, vanilla and baking powder.
  3. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet, about 1 1/2 inches apart because they spread.
  4. Bake for 7-10 minutes and cool on a wire rack.
