Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups crushed amaretto cookies
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 2/3 cup crushed toffee pieces
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1 1/2 cups shredded sweetented coconut
- 1 cup finely chopped almonds ( i used fisher's)
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
How To Make amaretto almond bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2Place crushed cookies and butter in bottom of a 8×8 or rectanglar cake pan. Mix well and pat to form a crust.

Step 3Sprinkle with sesame seeds and toffee pieces. Layer nuts, coconut and chopped chocolate on top .

Step 4Mix sweetened condensed milk with almond extract and evenly pour over layered ingredients. Tap pan slightly to settle .

Step 5Bake in oven for 25 to 30 minutes, top should be light brown. Let cool in pan for at least half an hour, cut into bars and serve.
