almond white chocolate cookies

Wanted something to use the almond paste I had bought by mistake. I had thought about a recipe on here but didn't have the ingredients so this is what I came up with. Eric said it was both heavenly and angelic. What does that mean anyway??

Ingredients For almond white chocolate cookies

  • 6 oz
    almond paste
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract (trust me don't add almond extract)
  • 8 oz
    vanilla or white chocolate chips

How To Make almond white chocolate cookies

    pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

    In a large bowlmix the almond paste, softened butter, brown sugar, egg, baking soda, salt and vanilla together with a beater. then fold in the rest

    Kknead and pinch off small chunks and put on a ungreased cookie sheet and bake 11-13 minutes. mine were 12 minutes
