My kids love M&M Cookies so I decided to give them a variety!

Ingredients

  • - 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • - 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • - dash of salt
  • - 1/2 cup shortening
  • - 1 stick cold butter (8 tablespoons), cubed
  • - 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • - 1/2 cup sugar
  • - 1 (3.4 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding
  • - 1 tablespoon imitation vanilla extract
  • - 2 large eggs
  • - 1 (12.6 ounce) bag milk chocolate m&m's candies, divided
  • - 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • - 1/2 cup vanilla chips
  • - 1/2 cup peanut butter chips

How To Make 4-in-1 m&m's cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Combine flour, soda and salt; set aside. With an electric mixer, cream shortening, butter and sugars. Stir in pudding mix and vanilla extract. Add eggs and beat well. Gradually, add the flour mixture. Stir in 3/4 cup M&M'S.
  • Step 2
    Divide dough evenly (about 1 1/2 cups) in 4 small bowls. First bowl, add an additional 1/2 cup of M&M'S (reserve the rest for decorating). Second bowl, add chocolate chips. Third bowl, add vanilla chips. Fourth bowl, add peanut butter chips.
  • Step 3
    Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop rounded amounts of dough on cookie sheets. Decorate cookies with reserved M&M'S. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets before removing to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes 4 dozen.
