My thing is baking so when I need to send something somewhere that is my first choice. My son is on a team where everyone brings a dish to share on long days of competition. He took these brownies and in less than 5 minutes of being there they were devoured. I also made some for home and had trouble sharing they were so addictive.

all purpose flour
3/4 c
cocoa powder
2 tsp
instant expresso
2 Tbsp
1 tsp
2 tsp
baking powder
1 1/2 c
butter, melted
3 c
5 large
2 tsp
vanilla extract
10 oz
bag chocolate chips

How to Make Ultimate Brownies


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together first 6 ingredients. Sift 5 times, then set aside.
  • 2Melt butter and cool. Mix together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla with wooden spoon.
  • 3Add flour mixture to sugar mixture. Mix until combined. Add bag of chocolate chips and gently stir into mix.
  • 4Coat with cooking spray an 11x7 inch pan for thick brownies or 2 9x13 pans for thin brownies. Bake in oven for 30 minutes. Brownies will be a soft set when pulled out of oven.
  • 5Let cool completely. Can frost with your favorite frosting. Our favorite on these is a whipped cream cheese frosting.
