Ingredients
- 1 package cream cheese - regular or light - softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- FOR THE CUPCAKE
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup cocoa
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups water
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 24 - hershey's kisses - unwrapped
How To Make chocolate cheesecake cupcakes

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line muffin cups with paper liners.

Step 2Prepare filling. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg and salt until smooth and creamy. Stir in chocolate chips, and set aside

Step 3For cupcakes, stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in large owl. Add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla, and beat for 3 minutes, til smooth.

Step 4Fill muffin cups 2/3 full with batter. Then spoon one level Tbsp. of filling into center of each cupcake.

Step 5Bake 20 to 25 minutes, until toothpick inserted in cake portion comes out clean. Just before removing from oven, set one candy kiss in center of each cupcake and bake a bit longer, to allow candy to soften.

Step 6Remove from oven and let cool 5 minutes in pans. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
