Ingredients
- 1 pound light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 jar (8 oz.) smooth peanut butter
- 1 cup finely chopped nuts (optional)
How To Make peanut butter fudge candy

Step 1Dissolve brown sugar, butter and white sugar with milk. Cook until it forms soft ball stage (234-240 degrees on candy thermometer); test in small bowl of cold water. Add cornstarch dissolved in little cold water.

Step 2Remove from stove and beat well. Add vanilla, peanut butter and nuts.

Step 3Immediately transfer to buttered pan. Let cool to lukewarm; cut into squares.
