Oreo Cookie Bark
·1/2 package of oreo cookies, any flavor (approx. 1½ rows of a 1 pound package)
·1 package of white bark or almond bark (approx. 1lb. 8oz. package)
How to Make Oreo Cookie Bark
- Line a large jelly roll pan, or cookie sheet with waxed paper. Coat the waxed paper with a non-stick spray, or you can also lightly oil it. Set aside.
- Break half of the package of cookies (crème filling and all) into coarse pieces. You can do this procedure anyway you like. A couple of ways are… put the cookies in a large baggie and zip it shut. Then take a rolling pin and crush the cookies in the bag into course pieces. You can also put them in a food processor and pulse a second or two. Set aside.
- In a microwave safe glass bowl, melt one package of the white bark. Remove from microwave and stir in the broken cookie pieces. Pour mixture into prepared pan; spreading it over the entire pan. Refrigerate until solid.
- Flip over the pan of bark onto a large cutting board and peel off the wax paper. Cut bark with large knife to break into pieces. Store bark in an airtight container.
