1 lbpecan halves, about 4 cups
1/2 cpacked dark brown sugar
1 tspground cumin
10 ozpkg. red, green and white jelly belly jingle bell jells
1 cred and/or green m&m's
How to Make GLAZED PECAN CANDY MIX
- TOAST PECANS
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line jelly roll pan with parchment paper or foil. In large bowl . whisk egg whites until frothy.Add pecans, stir until coated. Combine sugar, cumin and salt; stir into pecan mixture. Using slotted spoon, transfer pecans to pan; spread in single layer. Bake, stirring occasionally, until toasted, 30 minutes.
COOL AND MIX:
Cool in pan 5 minutes. Transfer to wax paper; cool completely. Toss with candies. Makes 7 cups.
