fabulous fudge

This recipe was shared by my sister. It is a very good fudge.

yield Makes 3 pounds

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup parkay margerine (1 1/2 sticks)
  • 3 cups cane sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk (carnation)
  • 1/2 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 bag milk chocolate chips
  • 1 jar 7 oz. marshmallow cream
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter, crunchy or plain)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make fabulous fudge

  • Step 1
    Lightly grease a 9 x 13 pan or a 9 inch square pan with a pad of butter or margarine.
  • Step 2
    Mix margarine, sugar and milk in a heavy 2 1/2 or 3 quart sauce pan. Bring to a full boil on medium heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Continue boiling and stirring for 5 minutes on medium heat. (You must stir constantly to prevent scorching).
  • Step 3
    Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add peanut butter, marshmallow cream and vanilla. Mix well and pour into pan. Cool at room temperature and/or refrigerate. Cut into squares.
