How to Make Classic Peanut Brittle


  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a large glass bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes.
  2. Add peanuts and microwave 2 more minutes.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Pour into a buttered 15X10 inch pan and shake to spread thinly.
  5. Cool until firm (about 5 minutes) and break into pieces.
  6. Store in an airtight container.
