chocolate/peanut butter fudge - easy
I took two of my favorite microwave fudge recipes and combined them for a delicious treat. If you like peanut butter and you like chocolate fudge - you will love this recipe. Not to mention that it is very easy and fast. I give this as a gift. I have found decorative tin plates at Container store that are 10" round. Cover with wrap and stick a bow on top.

How To Make chocolate/peanut butter fudge - easy
-
Step 1This is a TWO part recipe. Lightly spray a 10" square or round pan or pie plate and set aside.
-
Step 2Make peanut butter fudge FIRST using the first 4 ingredients. MIX sugar, butter and milk together in a medium/large bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes. Beat with a whisk or use a hand mixer to smooth out sugar lumps. ADD peanut butter and microwave for 30 seconds on HIGH. Mix this with a large spoon until creamy. QUICKLY pour this mixture into the prepared pan and spread it out to the edges of the pan Let set for about 30 minutes until firmly set.
-
Step 3SECOND half of recipe. Start with a clean bowl. Lightly mix 1 box powdered sugar and cocoa together. ADD sliced butter, milk (measure precisely since this recipe is liquid sensitive) and vanilla (I mix the milk and vanilla together in a 1 cup liquid measuring cup. My favorite is the OXO measuring cups). Microwave for 1 minute on HIGH. Stir in chopped nuts and lightly stir. (This will look like a mess and you will just know it won't work but it does) Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. Stir until all butter is melted. Pour over the Peanut Butter Fudge and let set until completely cool and firm usually about 1 hour.

Step 4Cut into pieces and ENJOY!!!! Makes a great gift.
