Super special recipe which uses the microwave instead of your iron skillet! Try it once and you will be hooked. Get a rhythm going and you will have a bunch of batches in no time. Great for gift giving, too.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups white syrup
  • 1/8 - teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup peanuts, raw
  • 1 - teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 - teaspoon butter
  • 1 - teaspoon baking soda

How To Make 2di4 microwave peanut brittle

  • Step 1
    Put the sugar in a glass bowl, add the syrup, STIR, add the salt, STIR, add peanuts, STIR, microwave for 3 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Take out and STIR, microwave again for 3 minutes. Great time to butter a cookie sheet for later.
  • Step 3
    Take out and add the vanilla and butter, STIR, microwave 1 minute.
  • Step 4
    Take out and sprinkle the soda gently and quickly and then pour onto a buttered cookie sheet.
  • Step 5
    Allow to cool or if you can't wait, put in the fridge to harden and cool. Break apart and enjoy!
