How to Make White Buttermilk Cake
- 1Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until fluffy.
- 2Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with buttermilk.
- 3Dissolve baking soda in warm water and add to batter. Mix well.
- 4Bake at 350 degrees in greased and floured round cake pans for 35 minutes or until cake tests done.
