- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup shortening, butter flavor5
- 5 large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 8 ounces 7-up or sprite
How To Make wally's 7-up pound cake

Step 1Cream butter, shortening, sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Add lemon and vanilla extracts and beat. Add flour and 7-up or sprite. Spray a 10-inch tube pan with nonstick cooking spray. Cook at 300* for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done. Let sit out for 30 minutes before placing on a plate. Serve 10-12
