20 ounces can light cherry pie filling
9 ounces pkg. chocolate cake mix
10 ounces can mandarin oranges, drained
5 tablespoons unsalted butter

How To Make surprise dump cake

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spread cherry pie filling evenly over the bottom of a 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle chocolate cake mix over cherries. Place the oranges on top. Cut the butter into thin slices; dot fruit evenly with the butter slices. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until the cake is done. Makes 4-6 servings.
