Everyone loves this cake. It's quick and easy. My husband couldn't wait for it to cool off. As soon as it was out of the pan he would cut into it. I got this recipe from one of my friends mother 45 years ago and have been making it since. It's kind of like a pound cake. Hope you enjoy it also.

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound butter softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 5 - eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
How To Make sugar cake

Step 1Beat sugar, butter till creamy.

Step 2Add flour.

Step 3Beat in eggs and extracts

Step 4Grease and flour bundt pan. Spread into pan. Bake 1 hr or until toothpick comes out clean. Bake at350 degrees.

Step 5Can use 1 tsp. vanilla or 1 tsp. almond extract. I prefer to use half of each.
