1 csugar or splenda sugar
1/2 tspsalt or light salt
1 tspbaking powder
3 Tbspwarm water
1 tsplemon juice
How to Make Sponge Cake
- Beat the eggs until thick and creamy. Add sifted sugar and beat well.
Add warm water and lemon juice and beat again.
- Sift the flour, add salt or light salt and baking powder and sift again.
Combine dry ingredients with the mixture, a little at a time folding in gently.
- When well blended pour in a ungreased pan with center tube.
Bake in moderate 350F for 50 minutes.
