Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter(no substitutions)
- 1 1/4 cups white sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- FILLING AND TOPPING
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup finely chopped nuts of your choice(i love pecans or walnuts)
How To Make sour cream coffee cake

Step 1*****Alternate sour cream and flour when mixing together. Batter will be super thick.*****

Step 2Mix filling and topping ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.

Step 3Cream together the butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after adding each one. Next, add vanilla.

Step 4Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and remember to alternate with sour cream/flour. The mixture will be thick and it's okay.

Step 5Put half of batter in a greased 13X9 baking dish and sprinkle half of filling and topping mix on top of batter. Put the rest of the batter on top and put remaining filling and topping mix on top of cake.

Step 6Bake at 350* for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
