Ingredients

1-1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
3 - eggs
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups apples, peeled, grated
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make simply delicious glazed apple cake

Step 1

Heat oven to 350. Spray 2 loaf pans w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, whisk together oil and sugar. Beat eggs in another bowl and add to oil mix. Beat in flour, baking soda and salt.

Step 2

Stir in apples, 2 tsp vanilla. Stir well. Fold in pecans. Pour evenly into pans. Bake about 1 hr, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Step 3

In saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, striing until sugar is disolved. Stir in milk. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Let cool. Pour over cakes.
