    pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 pinch
  • 1 jar(s)
    cream cheese frosting

How to Make Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Dessert


  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Using an electric mixer, beat the butter, white, and brown sugars until the mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs 1 at a time, then add the vanilla and pumpkin puree. Beat in the eggs 1 at a time, then mix in the vanilla and pumpkin puree.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and ground cloves. Slowly beat the flour mixture into the batter a little bit at a time. Fold in the chips.
  4. Spray two cake pans with non-stick spray. Divide mixture evenly. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool, frost, and serve.
