I made this cake for a family get-together today. I received so many compliments on it. It is one of the easiest recipes I've ever made.

2 csugar

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspvanilla extract

20 oz. cancrushed pineapple with juice

chopped nuts (optional)
- FROSTING

8 ozcream cheese (softened)

1 stickbutter, not margarine

1 tspvanilla extract
-
2-4 cpowdered sugar
How To Make pineapple cake

1Mix all cake ingredients together well and pour into a sprayed 9x13 baking dish. Bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes (until golden brown).

2Beat frosting ingredients until smooth and creamy. Spread on cake while it is still hot. Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
