Ingredients
- CAKE
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup cold water
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 dash salt
- ICING
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 pound 10x sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 - 3 tablespoons milk (appx. for spreading consistency)
How To Make peanut butter cake with peanut butter frosting

Step 1Cream margarine and peanut butter with sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Step 2Sift flour, baking powder and salt and add alternately with water.

Step 3Bake at 350° in prepared 13 x 9 or 9" round cake pans for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool.

Step 4For icing, cream butter and peanut butter. Add vanilla. Beat in sugar. Add enough milk for desired spreading consistency. Beat until smooth.
