- CAKE
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
- 3/4 cup Reese's pieces
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons cane sugar
- 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
- HOT CHOCOLATE FROSTING
- 1 tube frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chocolate milk
- 3/4 cup half and half
- 4 packages hot cocoa mix
How To Make peanut butter cake with hot chocolate frosting

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2To make the cake, coat a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray. Sprinkle peanut butter chips and Reese's pieces over the pan.

Step 3In a large bowl, combine cake mix, water, vegetable oil, eggs and cane sugar. Beat with a electric mixer at medium speed for 3 minutes. Add crunchy peanut butter.

Step 4Beat again at low speed for 30 seconds until blended. Pour into a prepared baking pan.

Step 5Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted the center comes out clean. Cool completely 10 minutes.

Step 6To make hot chocolate frosting: combine whipped topping, cream cheese, chocolate milk, half and half and hot cocoa mix in a large bowl. Whisk together for 3 minutes until blended.

Step 7Spread the frosting evenly onto the cooled cake.
