Orange Pound Cake
1 pkgduncan hines deluxe orange cake mix
1 pkgvanilla instant pudding (4 serving size)
1/3 cvegatable oil
1 Tbsporange zest (fresh or dried spice type)
2/3 cvanilla frosting
1/4 tsporange flavoring
1/2 tsporange zest
How to Make Orange Pound Cake
- Preheat oven to 350. Generously grease and flour Bundt pan. Blend all ingredients in a large bowl; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Bake at 350. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. (So not test by touching with finger. Crust will be darker than regular layer cake.)
- Cool in pan 25 minutes, then invert onto serving plate. Cool. Glaze when completely cool.
- Glaze: Place 2/3 cup Duncan Hines Vanilla frosting into small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly. Add flavoring and orange zest. Stir until well mixed. Pour glaze over cooled cake.
