Ingredients

2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
4 tablespoons butter
2 cups mini marshmallows
3 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup coconut (optional)

How To Make old fashioned rocky road frosting

Step 1

In a 2 qt. saucepan combine chocolate, 1 cup marshmallows, water and butter. Heat until well blended stirring constantly.

Step 2

cool slightly. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat until thick.
Step 3

Stir in remaining ingredients. Frost top of 9 x 13 cake.
