"Night Before Christmas" Coffee Cake
yeast (2 tbls. bulk yeast) desolved in 3 tbls. warm water
nuts or maraschino cherries,candied red or green cherries
1cream together sugar and butter
2add eggs,milk,yeast(with warm water),flour,salt,and vanilla
3beat all these ingredients togehter
4then set dough aside, covered with damp cloth,let rise, until double in size.
5when your dough has risen to double the size (this may take about 2 hours)put in 9x13-inch greased pan and spread with topping
6now place in cold oven and leave it over night to rise.
7the next morning turn oven on 350 degrees and bake 30 min.serve warm.
