This is a recipe we make at the nursing home where I work. They all love it and it is easy!

Ingredients

1 box chocolate cake mix
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can cream of coconut
8 ounces cool whip
1 package mounds coconut

How To Make mounds cake

Step 1

Bake cake according to directions on box. In a 9x12 cake pan.

Step 2

As soon as it comes out of the oven, poke holes in the top of cake. (I use a straw).
Step 3

Pour Sweetened condensed milk over the cake. Next pour cream of coconut over the cake.
Step 4

When the cake is completely cooled, top with Cool whip and coconut.
