Ingredients
- 1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees)
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 2 packages active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water - 110 degrees
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons dry milk powder
- 1/4 cup instant mashed potatoes dry
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter melted and cooled
- 2 - eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter melted and cooled
How To Make moravian sugar cake

Step 1Add yeast to warm water and sugar; set aside until yeast bubbles.

Step 2Add next 7 ingedients,plus 1 cup of the flour.

Step 3Beat 2 min.on medium speed. With wooden spoon,add 2 remaining cups of flour. Place in greased bowl; turn once to grease top of dough. Cover and let rise until double, about 1 hour

Step 4Punch dough down and put in greased shallow pan 17x12x1 inches. Let rise 30 min, spread evenly in pan; sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon, make shallow indentations with fingers and dribble with last 1/2 cup cooled melted butter.

Step 5Let rise 30 min, then bake on 375 for 12 to 15 min till golden brown
