Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 5 - eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 tablespoon lemon extract
- 4 tablespoons milk, sweet or evaporated
How To Make lemon pound cake

Step 1Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs one at a time and blend thoroughly after each addition. Gradually add milk. Add flour gradually and then lemon extract.

Step 2Bake at 325, in 10" tube pan, for approximately 1 hour.
