I increased the ingredients for the topping many years ago to suit our personal taste.

Ingredients

1 package yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans)
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 stick butter (hot)

How To Make holiday coffee cake

Step 1

Prepare cake according to package directions.

Step 2

Bake in greased and floured 9"X13" pan for 15 minutes.
Step 3

Sprinkle w/ topping. Pour melted (hot) butter over all. Continue baking until done. *Butter will cut into the batter and the topping will cut into the cake.....
