hershey bar pound cake

This cake is a very moist cake. My daughter-in-law loves it and I make it for her on her birthdays. It is a rich and yummy cake and it came from a local cookbook from years ago(Barbara's Top Recipes).

Ingredients
- 2 cups unsalted butter or margarine
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 5 1/2 ounces hershey syrup
- 2 1/2 cups cake flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 cup buttermilk (i use whole buttermilk)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 7 - plain hershey bars, melted (1.55oz ea)
- 1 cup chopped pecans
How To Make hershey bar pound cake

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. In mixer with paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar on medium high until light and fluffy, approx. 3 minutes.

Step 2Add eggs and syrup, mix until combined.

Step 3Combine flour, salt, and soda and add alternately with the buttermilk.

Step 4Stir in vanilla, melted Hershey bars and pecans. Spoon batter into a well greased and floured tube pan. Bake @ 325 deg. for 60 to 75 min or until cake tests done.
