cake mix of your choice (i use butter yellow---grandma likes chocolate) :)
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 c
    water
  • 3/4 c
    oil
  • 1 can(s)
    coconut-pecan frosting

How to Make Grandma's Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease a Bundt pan, then take a little bit of the dry cake mix & use it to flour the pan as you usually would.
  2. Mix together first 4 ingredients with a mixer until well blended. Then, with a spatula, stir in can of coconut-pecan frosting.
  3. Pour batter into pan & bake 35-45 minutes depending on your oven. Test doneness with a toothpick or wooden skewer, when it comes out clean it’s done. Cool in pan about 10 minutes, then dump onto your desired serving dish.
  4. Sometimes I sprinkle a little powdered sugar on top before serving…your choice.
