This came from a Pillsbury Bake-Off winner from years ago. It is rich and fudgy and can be put on a "warmish" cake if you are in a hurry. Also good on brownies, with extra spread onto graham crackers for a quick treat.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c
    butter or margarine
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2.5-3 c
    powdered cane sugar

How to Make Favorite Fudge Frosting

Step-by-Step

  1. Microwave butter and milk about a minute on high until butter is melted and mixture is hot. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted.
  2. Add vanilla and powdered cane (for better texture) sugar until of spreading consistency.
  3. Makes about 3 cups of frosting.
