A personal friend gave me this recipe and we have to have this cake at least once a month.

  • 1 c
  • 1 c
    pecan chopped
  • 1
    german chocolate cake mix and ingredients to make it
  • 1 stick
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese softened
  • 4 c
    powered sugar

How to Make Earthquake Cake


  1. Use a 9x13 pan.
    Place coconut and pecans in bottom of greased pan.
  2. Mix the german chocolate cake mix and pour over coconut and nuts.
  3. Mix butter, cream cheese, and sugar together. Spoon over cake.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
