Ingredients

  • CAKE
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon each baking soda and salt
  • 1 cup coffee room temp
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • FROSTING
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 ounces cool whip
  • TOPPINGS
  • 1 cup crushed oreo's
  • 2 cups mini peanut butter cups or 1 small bag peanut butter cups
  • 1/4 cup hot fudge sauce

How To Make decadent devils food peanut butter cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven 350 degrees. Grease a 9 by 13 pan.
  • Step 2
    Mix the ingredients for cake together beat well. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool completely
  • Step 3
    Whip the cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar together. Fold in the whip cream. Spread over cooled cake
  • Step 4
    Top with crushed cookies peanut butter cups and warm the hot fudge and drizzle over top.
  • Step 5
    Tip. Can use fudge frosting instead of hot fudge.
